Our History…

In 2008, amidst economic hardship, CEO and Founder Bill Gilbert created OAV by turning his part-time side hustle into a full-time audio and visual solutions business. With countless phone calls, meetings, and events, Bill established strong partnerships with businesses and clientele, many of which are still intact today. Bill hired his first OAV employee in 2009, his daughter, Kasey, with the hope he could continue to grow his already respectable AV business.

Kasey Nemetz began as an administrative assistant, answering phone calls and observing the hard work her entrepreneurial father put in day after day. Over the years, she focused on helping the business move forward, through financial strategies, innovative ideas, and a willingness to grow with the company.

Now as the Vice President of Finance at OAV, Kasey manages the OAV team, oversees daily operations and financials, and continues to push the boundaries with her father to provide leading audio/video solutions throughout Michigan and nationwide. This father-daughter duo assembled a solid and dedicated team of AV professionals who can be seen putting on several live events throughout the year.
